In memory of President Russell M. Nelson, a special broadcast, “A Tribute to Russell M. Nelson,” is scheduled to air on Wednesday, October 1. This event, which is closed to the public but available for all to view, will feature remarks from Church leaders and a performance by The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square, honoring the life of the beloved prophet and president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The public is also invited to attend funeral services for President Nelson, which will be held the week following the Church’s semiannual general conference. The conference will proceed as scheduled on October 4 and 5.
