The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has reached a historic high, with approximately 88,500 full-time missionaries now serving worldwide. This surpasses the previous record set in 2014 and marks a season of incredible growth.

This growth is driven by a rising generation of dedicated disciples. Notably, this is the first group of young women to begin serving at age 18, an opportunity that has opened new doors for service.

To accommodate this record number of missionaries, the Church has opened 55 new missions, bringing the global total to 505.

Leaders, including Elder Ronald A. Rasband and President Dallin H. Oaks, have celebrated this milestone as a reflection of the profound faith and devotion of today’s youth.

As these young men and women dedicate their time and talents to the Lord’s work, they are not just contributing to a statistic—they are demonstrating their commitment to choosing something eternal. Their service is a powerful testament to a generation choosing to offer their heart, might, mind, and strength to the Lord.
